Illuminati is a new chamber choir that aims to convey the wonders of the choral repertoire in an invigorating and imaginative way. The group, whose membership comprises some of the finest young voices in London, will be working in some of the capital’s most interesting and unusual venues to bring a new slant on a thousand years of choral music. In their first programme of 2006, Illuminati’s conductors, Peter Asprey and Christopher Bucknall direct music that will explore a vast scope of musical experience, from tender intimacy to dazzling grandeur.
